Nicole Fox is a Digital Media and Journalism student with a passion for capturing the emotion and humanity of sports. She specializes in photography and also has experience with video and graphic content.
She attends Southern Illinois University as a Radio, Television, and Digital Media major with a Specialization in Electronic Sports Media and a minor in Journalism. However, her most valuable lessons have come from her time as a Creative Media Intern for SIU Athletics. Through this position she has gained experience creating, editing, and publishing content for almost every sport the university has to offer, and has gotten the opportunity to learn from many seasoned professionals.
She spent the summer of 2024 working as the Photographer and Videographer for the Forest City Owls, a collegiate wood bat team in the Coastal Plain League. In her role she was responsible for all game coverage content and promotional shoots during the regular season, as well as the league All-Star game and a playoff run.
She is also a proud enlisted member of the Illinois National Guard. Her time in the military has made her more resilient, well-rounded, and confident, which shines through in her creative work.
